Privacy Policy

This notice explains what information the website collects and how it is used when you contact us.

Last updated: 18 October 2026

1. Who is responsible for your information?

The controller is THESKYSCANNER, registered in Pakistan with SEC CUI 0254407. Registered office: 6Q College Rd, Block D Block Q, 54660. Privacy contact: info@theskyscanner.net.

We operate from Pakistan and the website is aimed at people who may live in the UK. The UK GDPR can require a non-UK business that offers services to individuals in the UK to appoint a UK representative unless a defined exception applies. The business must assess this requirement. This version has not been supplied with UK representative details; if an appointment is required, those details must be added here before UK personal data is collected. We do not claim that an exception applies.

2. Information we collect

  • Flight enquiries: name, email address, phone number, route, travel dates, passenger count, cabin preference and any optional message you provide.
  • General contact messages: name, email, optional phone number, enquiry category and message.
  • Security and technical information: the website host may keep routine server access and security logs, such as IP address, request time, page requested and browser information, according to its own retention settings.
  • Cookie choice: a local browser preference records your separate choices for Google Ads storage, advertising-related data use and ad personalisation.

Please do not send passport data, payment-card details, medical information or other sensitive information through this site. The form does not create or amend a booking.

3. Why we use it and our legal bases

  • To read and respond to an enquiry you make, using the steps you request before any potential contract. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract, where that applies.
  • To handle general correspondence and protect the website from abuse, where necessary for our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, balanced against your rights.
  • To measure Google Ads performance, send advertising-related data to Google, or use ad personalisation only if you actively accept the corresponding optional choice. We communicate your choices through the Consent Mode signals ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization. analytics_storage remains denied because Google Analytics is not installed. The legal basis for these optional activities, including related non-essential device storage/access and advertising-data sharing, is your consent. You can change or withdraw your choices at any time using the cookie preferences control.

4. How form messages are delivered

When a form is submitted, the website sends the details to info@theskyscanner.net using the hosting server's PHP mail service. The forms do not write enquiry details to a website database. The company mailbox and the host's mail/security systems may retain the message and technical delivery records. Before launch, the operator must configure the mail service, set and follow an appropriate mailbox retention period, and confirm the host's privacy terms.

5. Who may receive information

We use the website hosting and email providers needed to run the site and reply to messages. If you accept one or more optional Google Ads choices, Google may receive relevant website and advertising-measurement information through the tag, subject to the consent signals you selected and Google's terms. The site does not automatically forward form submissions to airlines or travel suppliers. If a particular request would require sharing your details with a seller or supplier, we should identify the recipient and purpose before doing so.

6. International access and transfers

The company is registered in Pakistan, so its personnel may access enquiry information there. The website host, email provider and Google services may also process data in other countries. Before launch, the operator must confirm the actual providers, locations and any transfer safeguards required by applicable data protection law. Contact us if you need details about a specific transfer.

7. How long information is kept

Website enquiry details are not saved in a site database. The company mailbox should retain an enquiry only for as long as needed to respond, close the request and handle any related complaint; the site owner should configure a retention period in the mailbox and delete messages that are no longer needed. Security-log retention is controlled by the hosting provider. If you later make a separate booking, the seller's transaction records may be kept for longer where required by law or to establish or defend a legal claim.

8. Your rights

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, erasure of or restriction of your personal information; to object to processing based on legitimate interests; to receive certain data in a portable format; and to withdraw consent for any optional Google Ads choice. To make a request, email info@theskyscanner.net. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office if you are in the UK or regularly provide information about people in the UK. See how to complain to the ICO.

9. Automated decisions and marketing

This website does not make decisions about you with legal or similarly significant effects solely by automated processing. The website forms do not subscribe you to direct marketing. Google Ads storage, advertising-related data use and ad personalisation are controlled through the consent popup.

10. Changes and contact

We may update this notice to reflect changes in our service, providers or the law. The current version is published here with its revision date. Contact the privacy contact above if you have questions.
