Refunds & cancellations

The refund process depends on who sells and issues a particular ticket. This website does not itself sell or ticket a flight.

Last updated: 16 October 2026

This website does not take payment

You cannot buy a flight or pay a booking deposit through this website. Sending a message or making a call does not create a booking, and there is no website payment to refund.

If a separate booking is made

If a conversation later leads to a booking with a seller, that seller's written confirmation and fare rules should identify who is responsible for the ticket, how to contact them, which cancellation or change fees apply, whether any agency fee applies, how to request a refund and whether any financial protection applies. Ask for the full details before agreeing or paying. We do not publish a blanket promise that every ticket can be changed or refunded.

Any fee or charge must be clearly disclosed before you agree to a transaction. Mandatory charges and optional extras should be set out separately where relevant.

If the airline cancels or changes a flight

Passenger rights depend on the flight and circumstances. If an airline cancels a flight covered by UK passenger-rights rules, a traveller may have a choice of refund or rerouting. The exact rights and process depend on the booking and applicable law. Start with the airline or the seller named on your booking and review the CAA cancellation guidance and the UK Government passenger-rights summary.

How to ask us for help

If you believe a separate transaction was arranged through us, contact info@theskyscanner.net or call 020 8187 4844 during Monday–Friday, 09:00–18:00 GMT. Provide the seller's name and booking reference if available. Do not send card details, passport information or full identity documents by email.

Your legal rights

Nothing in this policy removes consumer or passenger rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. A contract-specific refund promise or process, if any, must be supplied by the responsible seller in the booking documents.
